Residents and staff came together on 16 October to share and celebrate their collective achievements, reflecting on the past year, together with people who had supported them through the year – family and friends, colleagues, social workers, district nurses, contractors and neighbours.
“We wanted to thank everyone for their contributions and share the impact they have made, enabling lots of good things to happen.”
The celebration included the official opening of the ‘new doors’ by Chris, a Rockliffe tenant, who had supported the design of the new entrance after experiencing difficulties and restrictions moving independently through the doorways due to the previous flooring. Chris spoke with contractors and observed the work throughout to ensure his seal of approval on completion!
Chris and the tenants are extremely thankful to the contractors and the SJOG Housing Team for increasing his independence and to the amazing support of the team at Rockcliffe for making this happen.
